Account Archiving Procedure
To ensure effective data management, we have implemented an automated account archiving system for inactive accounts that have been dormant for six months or more. Please note that no data is deleted during this process, and you can easily restore your account at any time by simply logging back in.
How It Works
1. Every month, we automatically scan for accounts that have been dormant for six months.
2. Before archiving an account, we send an email to the registered address, detailing steps to prevent archiving.
3. After a 14-day period with no account activity, your account and its contents will transferred from the primary Nixplay Cloud to a secure archive storage and will become unavailable.
How to prevent your Account becoming dormant
To prevent your account from being archived, just sign in to the Nixplay mobile or web apps every six months. Alternatively, if you have a Nixplay frame, make sure it's turned on and connected to Wi-Fi.
Implications of Account Archiving
- Access to your account via the mobile or web apps will be temporarily suspended.
- Although your frame will continue to display stored photos and videos upon restarting, any content stored in your Nixplay Cloud will remain inaccessible until you log in again.
- Shared playlist content will also be temporarily inaccessible, as this data usually resides in your Nixplay Cloud. Once archived, it is securely stored in a vault.
Account Restoration
Rest assured that your photos and videos are stored securely. We are committed to preserving your content indefinitely. Upon archiving, your content remains safe and retrievable. To retrieve your archived content, log back into the app and confirm the content retrieval process. This automated procedure typically takes no longer than one day.
